- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the apple cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use tart apples like Granny Smith.
- Chill the bars in the refrigerator for a few hours before cutting for cleaner slices.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
