Description

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 ounces of brie cheese
  • 1 small apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the brie cheese and apple slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
  9. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
