  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth; let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the cream cheese mixture, and sprinkle blueberries on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice it in half lengthwise.
  8. Twist the two halves together and place in a greased loaf pan.
  9. Let it rise for another 30 minutes, then preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown; let cool before serving.
