Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar. Whip until soft peaks form.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly in the cooled coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- In a trifle dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom.
- Add half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Layer half of the mixed berries on top of the mascarpone.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and berries.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
- Feel free to substitute the berries with your favorite fruits.
