Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, mix everything together, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice or noodles.

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
