Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen mixed vegetables, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix the biscuit mix with water according to package instructions to form a dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the chicken mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the dumplings.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
