Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, sugar, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Arrange the apple slices on top of the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and walnuts.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
