- 4 pork chops
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and soy sauce together.
- Pour the brown sugar mixture over the pork chops in the skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, basting the chops with the sauce.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use thick-cut pork chops.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes for a complete meal.
